UX & UI - SCHOOL PROJECT
Alex Boza
2018
This project focuses on creating meaningful and satisfying experiences for H&M customers by seamlessly integrating physical and digital interactions, with the goal of attracting and retaining new customers.
Through extensive research across both channels I gained a deeper understanding of the target user and their core needs. These are the key highlights:
While shopping they love:
• Trying the product before buying it.
• Finding on sale items that they are looking for.
While shopping they dislike the most:
• Queuing in the store.
• Crowded stores are overwhelming.
Paula is 30 years old and most of the time shops online. Although, many times she ends up returning the clothing pieces because the fit is not right or she doesn't like how they look on her.
Sara is 22 years old and she prefers to go to the store to try and take a look at the product. Although, she dosen't like wasting time in cue lines.
Applying human centered design practices I started defining the features and navigation through the new app. Below you can see initial mockups created during this phase.
The App. I redesigned the App incorporating a gaming reservation experience the ability to create a personalized digital closet.
The Smart Closet. Allows customers to touch and try the product in the store before buying it and avoid wasting time in cue lines.
