During my degree at Elisava I specialized in Transportation Design. One of the assignments was the design of a rapid transit system in a city where they lacked from this infrastructure.
We chose Miami since it lacks of a ground transporation system to connect the city center with the beach.
CHALLENGE
Design a public system of ground transportation with high occupation capability.
PROCESS
To bring the concept alive, sketching, 3D modeling and clay modeling were involved to achieve a close represation of the design intent.
OUTCOME
Modern and sustainable high occupancy bus inspired by Florida's surroundings and fauna.
The culminiation of this process provided a better expertise of a wide range of tools to develop and present a transportation design project.
